Lovely Bontrager SPD pedals SOLD

Deveron53

Senior Retro Guru
I bought these for my Privateer build but I couldn't bring myself to stomp all over them with my cleats. My retrobike is a commuter so I use Shimano caged pedals as they're snappier to get into at the lights!

These are SUB 350g as certified by Weight Weenies! Cartridge bearings and they are 100% smooth! Servicable via the removable end cap.

£20 posted - bargain!

That IS a bargain !!! But as you know I wont be needing them as of now    Bye Bye Bonty...... Such a great ride too !!

I have no firm idea of the year but Weenies were showing a 1999 and a 2000 with quoted weights. They ARE Pawprint though...

I'll think about. as undecided. But any one feel free to jump in. I'm having such a bad evening.

Are these 'classics' or anything special about them?
not trying to diss them, I got a pair exactly the same and am just 'hacking' them on my BoTE

Should I be keeping them for my 'sunday best'? :? :?

Gc

They are sold pending payment now.

They're just nicely made and quite light compared to the Shimano ones. The bearings are cartridge and the whole pedal assembly is easy to service.

Plus, they're KB design and not Shimano.
