For sale i have my most recent labour of love. This is red fire mountain (I think it is 1998 (edit been told it is a 1999) but struggling to find a pic on the net. The frame has plenty of scratches and marks on it due it to be well used by previous owner. The frame though is in generally good condition.
This has been highly specced up by me but has to go as i'm starting a family and need the money rather desperately to buy a car. This comes with Rock shox reba suspension forks. SUper light Ritchey WCS STem and handlebars in liquid black. RItchey WCS bar ends. It has SLX shifters, front mecg, rear mech, and crank set and bottom bracket. A Magura Julie front disc brake and magura hydraulic rear brake.
The wheels are mavic xc 717 disc on the front and xc 717 rim on the back, both with xt hubs. Both with Panaracer fire xc pro with plenty of wear left. All quick releases are red hope. Seat post is a really light USE ALien 420 in red too (theres a theme of redness). Seat is an uncomfortable but really light specialised which has a slight tear in back of seat after going arse over tit when avoiding a breeze block in the road the other day.
All components have only had light on road use and iare in very good condition.
I am looking to sell this for 450 pound(now reduced to 300) but it is for collection only. I live on the south coast Near Portsmouth and can travel a little bit in a friends car but will not post or break this down. Whilst i appreciate others may buy this and sell off parts it has been a labour to build this and i'm not willing to sell it as parts.
Photos will be available to view below within a couple of hours of posting this at the following links. In the pictures it has slick tyre on rear but this will be removed and replaced with the tyres mentioned above.
Realised i forgot to mention it is the 18" frame and comes with xt spd pedals.
