How does that swingarm make a standard San-An have further rear travel?

I thought the longer rear travel came from a mount on the frames , they had several different mounting positions for the rear shock?

I may be wrong?

Cheers

The shock mount is welded farther back on the arm and a longer stroke shock is used to give 6" of travel. If you look at the pic you can see the reinforced area on the swingarm about an inch forward of the shock mount where the regular travel mount would be welded on.
