DMR V8 pedals in red... paint coming off (flash makes them look worse than they are), all pins present and correct and bearings smooth (bit of play in one) standard 9/16" threads

Yes, I put helium in some

No... I was after some but I bought a pair of those Wellgo B-47 ones in the CRC sale for a change (huge with evil pins!). You'll find em for a tenner on FleaBay no probs if you don't mind some paint rub.
