no idea on bearings . it is 8 speed ,so fine with 9 speed and 7 speed with a spacer .

it is currently built on a mavic 217 rim , wheel is not too much out of line but rim is starting to crack in 1 or 2 places . has been used like that for a while and it did not get worse .

I d be happy to sell the whole wheel for an extra £5 to cover extra postage .

IMO best to use new nipples when building a wheel , but will give them if you want them .
