Pub Bike?! Lovin that!
Kinda open's up a whole sub-category a bikes!
what would you have?
obviously needs to be cheap (like this) so yer not arsed bout it gettin mashed / robbed but at same time needs to be in keepin with yer outlook on bikes - ie old geometry and quality remains...
simplest solution would be gettin either somethin like this or yer 89 quid jobby from halfords / motorworld / iceland / shoeshop (insert anyone who has no experience of bikes...) the irony bein that these are most likely to be robbed cos the ignorant (swear words) who rob em in the first place haven't a clue and'll take anythin that looks like what they see in the shops and leave the pile a shyte with no suspension - someone here recently had bikes robbed (sorry to bring it up) but they left the rigid attitude... not quite the same educated thieves you get in the art world really are they...!
maybe the way to go is a cheap battered clockwork or something which you know will ride nicely, spray paint it matt pink and put 200gs stuff on it so no one will pinch it, the gears won't work (but you'll be pissed anyway) and yer guaranteed a ride home with extra laughs while yer at pub bout fact yer ridin a pink bike...
