2 AMP Research/Mercedes Benz bikes for sale:

First bike is the Mercedes Sport Cruiser. Built in 1998 by AMP for Mercedes to sell in their auto showrooms. They are pretty rare and this one's in perfect condition, as close to new as you'll find. Just take a look at the tread on the orginal tires. It has a Shimano 7-speed internally geared Nexus hub and shifter and the front brake is AMP's cable actuated hydraulic disc brake. The rear brake is built into the hub. Everything works flawlessly. These were only built in one size and color.

Asking $700

Second bike is the Mercedes MB4, basically a glammed up B-4 with Mercedes badges. Also built in 1998 by AMP for Mercedes to sell in their auto showrooms. This is a special edition "cargobike" that comes with 2 wheel bags and a custom Mercedes wheeled travel case. Also included are the manuals and laminated packing/unpacking instruction sheet. Everything on the bike is original with the exception of a newer Shimano XTR front derailleur and new shift cables and housing. All of the other drivetrain components on the bike are original Shimano Deore XT. Front and rear brake calipers are AMP's cable actuated hydraulic disc with Shimano XT levers. The frame is the larger 20.5" size. The fork could use a rebuild if you plan on riding it much (you can still buy rebuild kits from AMP). Overall, the bike is in excellent condition as you can see from the pictures.

Asking $1200

I have a set of the Chirs King Hubs that he made for Bontrager. THey are laced to Race Lites and have the skewers. Low miles.

I am in the market for a set of Red Ringle or King or other higher end Hubs matching front and rear.

Thanks!

[size=150]1996 Eastern Woods Research (EWR) B2 Race bike size Medium (17” center to top)

Edit: I decided that I am sellling the frame only for $350.00

It is with great sadness that I am selling my very rare EWR B2 race. (thinning the herd)
For those of you not familiar with this legendary brand, they are well known for their long top tube and short chain stays. They are the ultimate wheelie machine.
The frame is in excellent condition. There is one very small ding on the underside of the bottom tube. It appears to be from a fork crown spinning too far around and coming into contact with the bottom tube. This did not happen while I owned the bike so I am speculating that this is how it happened. (shown in last picture)
Frame: Eastern Woods Research B2 Race - Triple butted True Temper OX III tubing. Custom paint by Fresh Frame in Ephrata, PA.

EXUS VP titanium pedal spindles for Shimano M737 pedals

They appear to be unused howebver, there is some play on the threaded end that foes into the crank arm. I am not sure if they are supposed to be this way or not.

Buy only if you know that they will work properly for you (no returns)

$40.00

Chris King Turquoise/Sky Blue 1-1/8 threadless headset, mint, non-original top cap is a perfect match, great bearings, $125 shipped anywhere.

Image

2003 (or so) Interloc Racing Design (IRD) Tempest Reynolds 853 hardtail, disc/linear pull ready. This has 'Breeze-in' dropouts and in some ways can be considered the last Breezer. Some chainslap and suck, otherwise nice paint and a great frame. Size is 19" center to center and 21" center to top, and the top tube is 23". Head tube is 6-1/8" long. The frame weighs 4.5 lbs with the included original seatpost clamp. It has retro cred or I'd just put it in the post-97 forum. $225 shipped to the USA.
