Looking for a 1" suspension fork (yeah, I know) with no more than 80mm of travel, preferably not an RS Mag or Indy. While threadless would be awesome I can't afford to be too picky so threaded could work also.

Hey guys, my friend from San Francisco wants to ship me some carbon Forte ( a.k.a MIcroshift Arsis) road shifters for as cheap as possible.

Can anyone from the U.S tell me which would be the cheapest to post them.?

Not a big package as they're just road shifters.

Also, anyone in the U.K know if I would have to pay customs when they come into the U.K?

Many thanks in advance.

Are they new? If not have him write 'used parts' for the description of the item and a low value like $5 so you won't get taxed a bunch. If they are new have him write 'gift' or 'samples' and a low declared value. 'Gift' is always a safe option when in doubt.

You pay a percentage of the declared value in taxes and then a handling fee probably.

Thanks Groundoggy, I'll advise him to do that and they're new.

While going thru the tupperware bins in the garage yesterday I found a few things I truly have no use for. Shipping will be actual cost.

1) Tioga T-Bone stem: 1" quill x 150mm reach w/thru-stem cable hanger $10
2) Odyssey Cam stem: 1" quill x 130mm reach w/cool "cam roller" cable stop. I believe someone on mtbr has setup instructions for the cam to set it up correctly $20
3) Control Tech seatpost: 26.6 dia. x 330mm length. Decals not perfect but otherwise very nice condition $25 SOLD
4) Onza Stoggies bar ends: few marks but otherwise fairly clean $15
5) Air Englund fork cartridges: came out of a mid 90's Rock Shox Judy. As I remember one held air very well and the other had a very slow leak. Will come w/instruction papers and small aluminum tube-like tool for installation (not pictured) $40 SOLD
6) T.H.E. Toby Henderson front fender: got this as a sample back when the company I worked for used to distribute them in the 90's. We never carried the clear color so I'm not certain if this was a limited offering from THE or not. Comes w/both fender pieces, mounting bracket, and hardware to mount fender plastic to bracket. You'll just need a star nut and the 5mm allen bolt to mount it up. Unused w/scuffs & scratches from storage but once you get it dirty you'll never seem 'em $20
7) Rock Shox Mag series forks: Both have 1-1/4" threaded steerer tubes (one is a Mag 21 with a 170mm steerer, the other looks like an older Mag 20 with a 158mm steerer and an after market brake arch). The Mag 21 compresses & rebounds pretty well, while the Mag 20 does not fully rebound. Might need air, might need a rebuild....dunno $25ea or $40 for both.
