Hey!
I've got my eye on something on ebay but the seller only ships to the US. So what I need is someone on your side of the water who is willing to recieve a parcel for me and hold it for a day or two until my courier comes to collect it.
It's dead easy. You don't have to pay for anything or even go to the post office. Everything is done from your door (either office or home is fine) all you need to do is PM me when it arrives and I'll get UPS round to collect it.

And before you ask, no I can't just send the courier to the sender. I tried that. I think they're trying to make a bit on the postage.

For what it's worth, the item is only low value ($40) and isn't particularly bicycle related (unless you class my truck as bicycle transportation?) but I can't get it in the UK which is why I'm doing it the long-ass way round

The closer you are to Texas the better.

So anybody want to help a brother out?
This is more of a karma thing, but I guess I could throw in a 6 pack to make it worth your while
Send me a PM if you can help, but I'll watch this thread for a couple of days too for replies.

{Mods, I'm sorry if this isn't quite the right section, but I thought it was the best}

:? I understand your needing help from a usa member on this matter, but please delete this request when done. I would hate to start a trend of being OT in this thread, when it has gone so well thus far.

Thanks and good luck with your part :D

Absolutely!
I did say that if anyone was gonna reply then to send me a pm rather than clutter up the thread.
I'll do me best to keep the thread chit chat minimal.

A very classy set of 26" Mavic Cross Ride wheels. I bought these new years ago and they've been on a bike that hasn't seen much use. They're round & true, the cartridge bearings are butter smooth, and the braking surface is in exceptional condition. Front is 24 hole radial laced and the rear is 28 hole 3 cross. Comes with the Mavic quick releases and rim strips. One of the nicer 8/9 speed non-disc wheelsets you'll find.

$100 + shipping

**Would be willing to trade for an 1-1/8" 100mm travel fork.

SOLD

XT M735 long cage rear derailleur. It came off a bike that was ridden a handful of times by my wife while she rode around with the kids. Strictly street riding, no off road riding, never dropped. I parted out all the other XT stuff from that bike and this represents the last of it. EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN!

$80 + shipping

SOLD
