Oh, looking for a rim brake singlespeed specific wheelset for the Metal Head. It can be a beater wheelset or something special. I have a Paul disc / 717 singlespeed wheelset for sale or trade too. Let's say $300 + shipping to put a value on it. (this is the wheelset seen on the now sold Vicious Monolith in my signature).

Got the Metal Head! Thanks Myke! How much for those Kore stems?

Was the question about the Kore stems directed to me or Myke? If you were asking me, the NOS black one is $35 and $25 for the red one.

Hehe, I am not so great at the return key. That was directed at you, the Kore stem salesman. Thanks for interpreting that correctly.

Oh boy, put your stems away guys, I can't tell who's is longer but there definitely to close to call.

I really like the old Kore Elite stems. I have a red one from bitd that has stayed with me. I suppose my real problem is I don't actually neeeeed one. I actually need a shorter stem around 90-100mm and most of the Elites seem to be 120 and longer. My red one has one stripped out thread area on the steerer clamp which is why I've been looking at maybe getting others. So if anyone has one with a shorter length I may more inclined to buy yours.

**Frame is a 1993 Breezer Jet Stream made from Ritchey Logic Prestige tubing. Let me clarify by stating this is no garage queen but rather a rider, and it rides very well to boot. It has plenty of chips, scratches, & chainsuck consistant with a frame of this age, esp given the fragile nature of those Breezer paintjobs. There are, however, no dents and all threads are perfectly fine. Seat tube measures 18" c-c and top tube 22-1/2" c-c. I used it as a singlespeed and I'll tell ya what, it was awesome setup like that. Light, lively, and to coin a very popular description these days very "flickable". I highly suggest setting it up SS but it's fully ready to go geared as well.

The fork is a mix of Bontrager & Tange bits. The crown & steerer are all Bonty and the blades are the Tange Switchblades. One of the canti posts cracked long ago so I dremmeled the remaining bits off and tapped new threads inside the post mount like a Bontrager fork blade. I put many rides on it with no issues whatsoever...solid. Headset is a basic Ritchey Logic. Nothing special but it works fine. I also left the steerer tube a bit on the long side incase I ever wanted to fit it to a different frame.

Price is $200 + shipping. SOLD

**These wheels have very little time on them. The guy I bought them from had them built (hubs & rims were NOS), put maybe half a dozen rides on them, then sold them to me to fund another build. I too put about half a dozen rides on them and am now selling them to fund another build. Rims are Mavic MA2's and show just some minor brake pad wear. They're drilled for presta too. Hubs are XT's (M732 front - M735 rear) in the hard-to-find, very cool black. They're 32° (DT 14's w/ brass nipples) and the rear hub is 7sp with 135mm spacing. They come as pictured, w/o QR's as that's how I received them. If you really need QR's I can scrounge up a set of basic Shimanos.

Price is $125 + shipping. SOLD
