Late 90's Rock Shox SID XC in nice condition. Steerer tube is 1" alloy and is 7" long. I'll include a new set of seals & o-rings as the old ones most likely should be replaced and also included is an Origin8 threadless 1" black cartridge bearing headset in next-to-new condition. Will also include air valve adaptor. I don't mind shipping internationally, just keep in mind the rates will be high as I will be claiming it's value as the actual sale price and will insist on insurance.

$275 + shipping. **SOLD**

Hey Everyone.

I am in the process of looking for a cool, huge (23"+) classic MTB project. Looking for completes or frames. I currently have a Fat Chance and fillet Ritchey so think along those lines. Anyone got something collecting dust that they'd like to move on?

Thanks!

I have a pristine Nishiki Ariel frame/fork/headset in black with blue/pink splatter. 23"ish size (it's got a lot of head tube).

Also have a 1991 GT Zaskar frameset. 23" top tube, 22.5" c-top seat tube, 20.5" c-c- seat tube. This is ball burnished aluminum, U-brake rear. Fork is black steel with the 3-position dropouts on it. Canti bosses. 1-1/8" threaded headset. This frame is NOT pristine in finish -no dents cracks or dings, but the finish is oxidized, some decals are peeling, really needs some love. Made in the USA (to my understanding falt end cap, 6061 made in usa decal, SN# 05912293). Were these ever offered in a larger size? Seems like the 18 or 19" or whatever is much more common.

If either of these interest you I'll get better pics and/or measurements as you like.

Time to get this back into circulation. It's been hanging unridden for too long.

Well, after dealing with yet another transaction stopped due to the cost of international shipping and exchange rates not being as favorable against the US dollar, I've decided to proceed with this thread. I've put in a request to John, and he stated that he would discuss it with the other mods.

In the meantime, I thought I would just post one up to see how it goes, as I hope more people from the US join Retrobike, and post up their items for sale.

Basic rules of the thread: Please post up your items for sale or a link to your For Sale thread with a brief description of what's inside. If you post your items directly into this thread and have items no longer for sale, please update your post accordingly.

Only repost items if necessary and not without first editing the original post...this will keep this thread neat.

This thread is only for sellers/buyers based out of the continental United States. This is not to exclude international buyers/sellers, rather to help US residents more easily find other US residents selling/wanting parts on here.

Mods, if there is a problem with this, can we please discuss it first...before deleting. I understand that Retrobike is an international community, heavily UK and Europe, but I hope it's understood why I feel there might be a need for this. (I'm not sure if it's been tried before, but if it has and failed...perhaps this time will be different).

Thanks for your consideration

Thanks for giving the valuable knowledge regarding the world of Sellers and Buyers Group.

Hi there,

Looking to trade for a larger size frame (21"):

1988 Fisher Mt. Tam frame, 19", made by Tom Teesdale. Includes original fork and stem.

Looking to trade for something interesting from 1988-1992. I currently ride a 21" 1991 Wicked Fat Chance. Could be on something slightly larger (22"-22.5") but definitely no smaller than 21"

Open to all cool classic non suspension mtb bike frames.

Yes the paint is really damaged on the left side of the top tube, but no dents that I can find anywhere on the frame. Stem's in rough shape too. Overall I say the bike needs paint.

Will ship within continent.

Really would love to keep and ride this bike, but it's just too small.
