A pair of VGC (very smooth bearings, great overall condition) Suntour XC Pro hubs. These are the ones with WTB grease ports in - so easy to regularly grease.

The front one is laced into a period Specialized BXL21 rim with Wheelsmith dbl-butted spokes. Rim braking surface is good and the wheel is true.

The rear hub has been cut out of its spokes/rim. The spokes were cut before removing the freewheel so you will need a freewheel removal tool - which you would obviously require anyway when lacing the hub into a rim.

These are excellent hubs, a real 1990-vintage high-end piece of kit. Because of the grease ports the bearings are still smooth as butter! Why don't they make hubs like this today??

Anyway - asking £35 posted (as postage will cost approx £10).

Yup - certainly understand that! It's just that it'll be a bulky box and teh PO estimate £10.

I'm near Billingshurst, West Sussex (near Guildford or Horsham).

Any good?
