**SOLD**Hi all, I'll probably regret selling these but my build plans have changed.
Pace Rc36 first gen taken from my Orange X1.
1997 I think.
Just serviced by Tim at Fork English including new wiper seals, top outs, cart seals. Also has new decals, carbon bridges ( originals included ) new decals and an alloy damper lever.. all fitted by Tim. If you know his work then needless to say these beauties look amazing and will function perfectly. I literally got them back from him a few weeks ago and they've not been fitted- so they're good to go!
Steerer is one inch with 200mm to play with. Steerers in these are bolt in so you can change to 1&1/8th to suit your build.
Please ask questions as I've probably missed stuff out.
£250 inc UK tracked/insured post
**SOLD for £240**

Re: Pace RC36 beauty forks *Just Serviced*

Yep, RC36 was 1997. The carbon bridges are from the RC36 Pro-Class model of the same year and cost £399 and £499 respectively. Lovely forks, I still have my Pro-Class from the first batch after release.

Cheers Hotwheels for confirmation of age. Yes, they are lovely forks..

Re:

OK last call on these. As I'm still in half a mind to keep them, I'll take it as a sign from the retro gods that they should go back on my X1. Very near offers would be concidered ;)

Hi, am interested - not sure I can PM yet, but just need to find out if I can get the steerer threaded so I can fit them to my Klein MC1. Can you pm me. Cheers

Hello and thanks for your interest.
I may/probably be wrong but I don't think you're meant to thread an ahead steerer. Something to do with there being less material, ahead steerers are thinner walled. I'm sure it's been done and someone here will know better than I.
You're in the right place to find a threaded steerer. Or you could ask Tim @ fork English (just backdated on here)
I can pm you his number if you like.

Re: Pace RC36 beauty forks *Just Serviced*

Ah, thanks - am still on the learning curve with updating the old bike. Been looking for a decent set of forks for ages but 1" steerer tubes at longer lengths seem to be tricky to source. If you pm Tim to pm me that would be great. (Does his email end .co.uk?) Cheers
