I'm intrigued by this. Aluminium frames were introduced to the Kona line-up in 1994 with the Kula and the A A, and I had always assumed that both of these had a 27.0mm Seatpost. I further assumed that this 27.0mm size remained throughout the Aluminium range until I think, 2002. I have had many Aluminum Kona frames, and all of them have had a 27.0mm Seatpost. The only odd exception to this is the ultra rare 1998 Ku that used Columbus Altec2 Megatube 7005 tubing at 27.2mm.

I have a Kona Spec Sheet that documents all A A models as has having 27.0mm Seatpost. However the 1994 Catalogue does indeed document the A A as having a 27.2mm Seatpost for its' Acola 7005 Tubing.

Is the post that you have for sale here from your 19" 1994 A A frame that you also have for sale, and is it marked / does it measure 27.2mm?
