FS: Amp Research F3 XC Disc suspension fork 1" steerer NOS!

wallymann

Retro Newbie
on offer is a NOS Amp F3 XC Disc suspension fork!

key features:
- 1" steel threaded steerer (14" overall length with 3" threaded section)
- disc tab (pre-ISO mount so you'll need to locate an adapter for ISO disc)
- can also be DIY retrofitted with canti-studs
- can be run threaded/threadless -- just trim the steerer to length as there's plenty to work with.

condition is amazing -- again, it is NOS and never installed. various sticker are messed up due to +20 years of handling -- i left them on so the new owner can decide to peel them off or leave them. check out the pics and see for yourself. asking $199 which includes CONUS shipping. will ship internationally, but you'll have to pay shipping @ actual-cost.

here's a link to an old thread about the Amp fork lineup: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=315777&start=20

really? it's +20 years old and what you're kvetching about is called "shop-wear".

i purchased it from a bike-shop a couple years ago and have no idea when or how that shop-wear came to be.

you'd have to ask the dozens of shop employees that may have fondled this fork over the past +2 decades.

yes. there's no evidence of wear at all on the fork-crown, suggesting a crown-race was never pressed-on. the steerer threads are pristine, suggesting a headset was never installed either. likewise the disc brake tab is pristine.

i'm not familiar with any fork that can be mounted/used without a headset or brakes being fitted.

like i said, what you see is "shop wear".

are you interested?

are you absolutely certain that it has never been mounted and used => nos?

Yes, but not at that price. Had it been truly "amazing" / NOS, e.g. mint like an 'uncirculated coin', then the item would be considerable at that price. Glws.

happy to entertain offers -- PM/email.
