Orange E2 beautiful condition

Original orange E2 for sale... circa 1995/96 Bought to turn into commuter but too nice and too good condition to leave at station all day. New cables, pedals and service, which also looked at forks Manitou Mach 5 which seem ok, thought they were a bit greasy but apparently that’s normal for the type of manitou fork. Shimano xt, new tyres, wheels true, Mavic 217 in great working order, with some nice 90’s touches! Frame looks good as well. Serviced and checked out by the framed bicycle co in Llanberis.wheels true, in great working order, with some nice 90’s touches. Size wise I’d say its a small. Stunning example. £450ono

Yep, just checked and it’s still on fb for £450. Obviously us lot, who spend far too much time buying, selling and looking at old bikes have no idea what they’re worth!

Any interested parties have a good look for cracks as these were made of cheese and were quickly replaced by the e3.

Error made with price. Frame open to any inspection, if it’s not for you fine, but how about letting other people make up their own minds.

That’s fine Diana but I didn’t think pointing out the price difference was out of order. Have not said this is damaged but just stating that they have a habit of cracking, which is a fact.

We are a friendly forum but don’t think we’ll miss much. People are free to make their own mind up and I’d expect most to think that it’s a nice bike worth half of your Facebook price. GLWS.
 
This is what happens due to the material used, it is also why they are not worth very much. They are also prone to cracking around the seat tube too.

Thanks for comments. Bike is open to offers. I know they didn’t make many due to issues stated, so finding a price to compare with was a bit of a challenge... as you can tell I’m not a retro buff, just thought someone else might like it.
 
Just like to point out picture of cracked headset is not my bike, photo seems to have come courtesy of miles Earl photo bucket. This is my headset.
