Dirt Disciple
I dragged this out yesterday. I am never going to rebuild it - hopefully some one can!
The good: genuine mid-80s Roberts fillet brazed MTB frame, 26 inch wheels, Columbus OR tubing, approx 21.5 inch, Cinelli fork crown/bb, custom built for me by Chas. Frame/fork is basically sound.
The bad: paint is poor, but you could live with it with use of sone touch-up. headset (Camapg record OR) is shot. The frame is designed around narrower tyres and has a very short wheelbase. ideal build would be with 1.5inch slicks and drops as a road/track mtb.
The ugly: bb threads are stripped. This can easily be fixed with a sleeve, but will cost £ - especially as a respray would then be needed. Argos told me they often make such repairs - other framebuilders are available!

Collection from Southampton/Winchester area.
Frame and fork is free to collector, other parts may be available please ask.
