Anybody fancy this?
I bought the complete bike to harvest a couple of parts, but don't need what's left for any other builds right now. Was a reasonably specced bike with XT/DX, and has a full tange DB frame with some quite nice segmented forks (a bit like tange struts). Sizing is 17.5" c-c and it has a top tube of around 21". Takes 1 1/8" stem.
The frame is solid but cosmetically it's a bit challenged, with the worst of the paint loss being where a U-lock mount has been fastened on the seat tube by the looks if things. There'e a remnant of one bolt stuck in the rear dropout right now but I'm working on dremalling it out before I move it on! Headset is scruffy but works, (UN51?) BB is also smooth although the plastic ND cup has cracked a bit. It's nice and secure so I didn't want to touch it..
The original seatpost is also included - again, a bit scruffy, but works!
