I picked this up fairly recently, but in reality I won't use it.
1997 Proflex 857 in "Way Big". Mostly XT components, but the wheels are LX on the front and a "silent clutch" rear hub.
Dent on the top tube, it looks like from a child seat. All works and is rideable, but the gears/brakes need adjustment and the shocks might need a service as it seems a bit boingy to me.
Ideally looking for a similar sized Fat Bike project (frame and wheels), or a modernish hardtail complete, will consider single speeds and 29ers. Or my grail bikes, a PRST frame/forks or a Slingshot.
