This is a genuine '97 GT Zaskar frame which I bought from the original owner in 2002 and was used regularly for about 6 years. It's been hanging up in my folks' garage for the last 8 years.

Condition-wise, it's structurally sound, with no cracks or damage to any of the tubes/welds/threads but does have numerous scratches and marks on the paint from general use.

From the stamp on the dropout, it was manufactured June '97 and size is 14.5. I'm 5'7 and rode it comfortably.

I've been told that this is not an original GT colour for the year, but the original owner insisted that this is how it came from the shop when he originally bought it. If it has been resprayed, it has been done to a professional standard as there's no sign of any lacquer or red anodising under the yellow.

It comes with all parts seen in the photos and I'm looking for around £75

If you have any questions, please ask.

Re:

Oh bum.

Is it stamped Made in USA anywhere on one of the drop outs...? And the seat post, presume it isn't stuck in the seat tube at that level...?

Re:

Nope, no Made in USA stamp.

Sorry, I forgot to add these photos.

BB was hand tight, threads in excellent condition. Seat post was also free. The BB itself feels a bit gritty but may clean up. Bearings themselves seem fine, can't feel any play. From memory it's a RaceFace one.
