FINAL DROP BEFORE STRIPPING - £60 POSTED TO UK MAINLAND

The bike that gave me my username and so many great rides is now split - I have accepted that I'll never get round to restoring her so it might be good if somebody else did.

This is the flagship bike from the 1993 catalogue (http://vintagecannondale.com/year/1993/1993.pdf) and dates from March 1993 - it was surely one of the earliest really workable full sus designs. Back in the day when even suspension forks were an unusual sight, it was like riding Darth Vader's bike. She has been well used and scuffed up, but there are no cracks or weld issues, the head tube is currently fitted with SI cups for a Lefty. BB threads are good, I have the single pivot bolts & bushings, but you will want to replace those.

I'm also selling various XTR bits on the 'bay which I will link to if my old git IT skills hold up.

In my opinion - and I'm biased - this is a classic design and worth keeping alive, I simply don't have the time I'm afraid, hopefully someone else does.

Do you have the fork / headshock for it?

Would be interested in the frame and fork if it's there....

Re:

Sorry, original delta forks went long ago - so long ago that it was an upgrade to a whopping 80mm of travel Super Fattys ☺️

Re:

Ah yes, size would have been useful - it's a large, 21" from centre of BB to a nominal top of seat tube position, horizontal top tube length of 24". While that may sound big, I'm 5'11" and it's been a great fit - feels really planted with space to move fore & aft. Full geometry is on the 1993 catalogue link.

Re:

Bump for the 'Dale Massive ( it is 90s after all...), £60 posted before I strip, polish and stick on the wall as brutalist cycle-art?
