So it is with a heavy heart that I have to post this ultra-rare Titanium dream bike for sale; I am buying a house and unfortunately I need some additional cash for home improvements and therefore a bike cull is in order. Although I love this bike and had great fun building it, I am forced to admit that I prefer riding my modern bike off road and therefore she is the one that has to go.

I would describe the overall condition as very good and have mentioned next to the individual components if they differ.

I am selling the bike whole or not at all as I simply don't have the time to strip and package individual items

Frame: 1997 X-Lite titanium Pro 20” - Excellent condition, previous owner was NoddE from the forum and he owned from new. (Will provide original catalogue with the bike).

Fork: Pace RC-36 Evo 2 Proclass

Headset: Chris King black threadless
Stem: Syncros (need a new top cap, currently using the Chris King as a temp fix)
Handlebar: X-Lite Cross Country (immaculate)

Barends: N/A (although I do have some black X-lite nobbies, can provide at extra cost)

Cassette: 8 speed Shimano (road)
Chain: SRAM
Cranks: Race Face Turbine (Middleburn RS-7 uno available as an upgrade/alternative)
Crank Bolts: Shimano
Chainrings: Middleburn (green ano is fading, but lots of life left)
Pedals: New Wellgo Modern Alloy CNC Flats (can replace with some SPD's at request)
Hub Skewers: Allen Key secure QR’s – no brand
Rims: Front - Mavic 517 Ceramic (coating is pretty much worn away), Rear - Sun Rims CR-18
Hubs: Hope Ti (rear) Hope Suspension (front)
Nipples: DT
Spokes: DT

Saddle: Selle Italia Flite Titanium Alpes
Seatpost: USE Titanium Alien (27.2mm with Cane Creek Shim up to 28.6mm)
Seatpost Binder: X-Lite (original Equipment)

Weight: difficult to say on the bathroom scales, but C. 22lb

Looking for £800 collected from Somerset (can arrange delivery in the South West, South Wales or Milton Keynes area) postage negotiated separately at buyers cost.

NOW REDUCED TO £650

Payment by bank transfer, cash or Paypal (you pay the fees)

As I have already stated this is a reluctant sale and I am selling the bike at less than the sum of it's parts are worth, so please don't make any crazy offers (unless they are for more than I have asked for (you can always dream)) !

Re: FS: Uber rare 1997 X-Lite titanium XC-Pro (complete bike)

Mods please move to the 1997 for sale thread - I am obviously trying to scupper my own sale! :)

Re:

Catalogue Pics for dimensions etc.

If you can find some of the forks you'd have a unicorn! :)

Lovely bike, seems like a bargain to me with all that kit on it
Thanks! :) it cost me a lot more to build, but haven't got the time to split, so someone gets a good deal! :)
