For Sale / swap for Road CX / frame / bike with plenty of clearance for mudguards and 23/25c tyres (For a winter commuter).

GT Backwoods 1997 purchased new by me all those many years ago.

The bike is completely original including the tyres with loads of life left which so how much mileage I have done on it.
The only things that got changed was Rock Shox forks, Syncross bars and Axiom Stem everything else is completely as it was bought right down to the chain.

The idea was I was going to use this as a winter commute but as my journey is the best part of 20 miles each way this isn't really suited for it (I know I tried it last Thursday).

Everything is in really good condition but it could do with new cables, brake pads and maybe treated to a service and a polish. Ill throw in some unused schalwbe city jet tyres as well.

This will be like selling one of my children so no silly offers please.
Ill find out exact frame size this evening. Located south Norfolk near Diss but could deliver.

Full spec of bike

Hello and welcome to the site.

Forum rules say it needs a firm price. Given this was the same as my first purchased bike from my own money, could be tempted if its agreeable.

Cheers

Oh sorry does £150 including 24hr courier sound agreeable then?

Not fair to comment on price really.

Best step aside.

Good luck with the sale though, nice frames worthy of upgrading.
