Change of plans. Keeping for the time being.

Up for sale are:

A pair of disk wheels, including the Hope disks. Hope Ti Glide hubs (rear blue, front silver) with Mavic 117 Sup CD ceramic coated rims. In vgc, both hubs have just been rebuilt with all new bearings and run smoothly. Only run with disks so no wear in braking surfaces.

A pair of early Hope mechanical disk brakes. Front was fitted to a Mag21 fork, but also included is an unused adapter to fit Pace RC35 & RC36 forks. In great condition and work well, but missing is one of the two pairs of widgets that hold the outer brake pads to the actuator. Should be a simple matter to make something that would do the same job.

92 Marin Team Issue frame – 16" c to top of top tube, 17'' c to top of seat tube. Nickel plated Tange Ultimate tubing. Frame is very sound, with just two small dents on top tube, but some nickel plating has worn off, mainly around BB, with surface pitting under down tube and at rear of seat tube. This frame has been adapted for disk brakes as shown in pics.

I would still love to see these go as a set to form the basis of a great bike for someone with more time than me, and am asking £150 posted for the lot. I will listen to offers for individual components if no interest for the separate parts.

May be interested in wheels and disks - not so much on the frame....

Will bear both offers in mind if I split.

In the meantime price reduction bump to £175 for the lot

Brecon Beacons, Pen-y-Fan in the distance, heading towards the Gap

Just think how nice it would be on a 92 Marin Team Issue with disk brakes :D
