If it was 29.4 I would not sell it.... ;) (yup, my fat is 29.4 and I already have a (rather used) syncros post for that frame....:) )

I have 3 29.6 posts... I found one or two frames in the sheldon brown database which use this size. I'll never find a use for them. I am thinking I should find a 1mm shim and use one in a 31.6 bike.

I have a Raleigh USA mti1000 titanium bike which uses a 29.8 but in that frame already a Syncros post is installed.
I know Trek bikes (the steel ones) from the early '90s need 29.8 like the 930 and, referring to Sheldon Brown, also the 990.
