I have a Kona Lava Dome 1994 model for sale.
It is an 18" Frame, in a sexy green, from the design of the great Joe Murray.

This is a model I really wanted when I first started racing in 1994. Unfortunately I had to make do with a less exciting Univega. I have mechanically overhauled the bike ( I am a bike shop Manager and mechanic). It is in mechanically good order with some new cables, good condition drivetrain, greased headset and bottom bracket. However it is not a showroom condition bike. It has quite a few scratches and chips from the previous owner. I have tidied them up with the closest paint match I could find. The most significant repair is that I had to straighten the rear mech hanger which was badly bent, and I had to do a lot of touching up of paint on it ( See pics).
However it is riding good and is a great bike for getting out on and riding like it was designed to be ridden- with a big smile!

It has a fair number of original parts and some later changes:
Marzocchi XC51 forks (11/8" threaded)
Shimano Deore 7 Speed Thumb Shifters
Unbranded aluminium handlebar (may be kona?)
Tranz x barends
120mm, 11/8" Velocity Quill Stem
Pedros Grips
Shimano Deore V.brake levers and Acera v.brake cantis
Front Wheel- Unbranded hub on Rigida rim
Rear Wheel- Shimano Alivio hub on Vuelta rim
Front Tyre- Bontrager Connection Trail
Rear Tyre- Panaracer Smoke V
Vetta Comfort flex saddle
Kona race light seatpost
Repainted Sugino Chainset (with red middleburn middle ring changed since pictures)
Shimano STX front mech
Shimano STX RC rear mech
Sram chain
Shimano 11-28 cassette
Unbranded threaded headset
Shimano M535 SPD Pedals

plus postage around 20 pounds (UK)
(I may be able to meet in person to anyone in the South West depending on distance)
