Welcome to HUB SWAP SHOP & Q/R TRADING ®

The aim is quite simple - to banish mismatched hubs & skewers!

Do you guys need any of my hubs or skewers? And, if so, do also you have one that matches one of mine?

Then let's trade!

Mods, hope this is OK, might just be the odd couple of quid here & there to even up any swaps?

No.7 may be 105.

I've got a No.10 I think, I'll check which end it is!

Our first caller!

Now, Pedro, you've played this game before haven't you?

I think No.7 may be from a Tiagra but that's close enough for me, and the nuts can be swapped (oo-er) to make them match perfectly.

It's yours if you want it.

Just being helpful, you know me...

I'm in need of a red Hope Mono rear, or maybe a non-disc ss version.

Dire need (still!) of a black & ti Hope non-disc front in 32hole.

Also looking for a Royce rear hub, either 135mm for Shimano or 130mm for Campag ... but probably couldn't afford one if it was offered!

And a modern XT m785 (I think) centrelock 32h rear.

.....

On offer I have a possibly NOS 36 hole Hope black & ti (lightweight?).

A Hope ti-glide front with lockring but no spider (still in a wheel so need a bit of warning to strip it!) ... think it's red...

And a modernish black Deore rear.

Skewers another time, breakfast's calling

Think this should be a sticky!

I do, otherwise similar to yours above ... just had a horrible feeling it may have been caniballised for it's freewheel, I'd better check! Could make a good 'un out of the pair at worst though...

Nope, Deore is m525 and all present and reasonably correct - cones are loose but feel passable. Doubt they come out of the factory paticularly smooth! All your's if it's useful?

Hope front is actually black not red

Hi,

I have a spare 5 bolt spider that would get that front Hope hub/wheel rolling. Swap for the rear Deore 525 hub/freewheel?

Cheers, James.
