Don't get too excited
This is how they were described to me when I bought them.
(Both hubs very smooth , bearings in rear one replaced earlier this year (approx 20 miles ago), they are pretty true side to side and spin silky smooth)
Well silky smooth if your silk contains brick dust
They spin but are grainy, they come with skewers, I have had suggestions of running them with toothpaste before re-greasing, but the bike is in pieces and I have no money to build it at the moment and think after Christmas I'll save for something that I don't have to repair. I cannot guarantee that they will ever be as smooth as they were described to me but they may well work for your retro pub build.
I've looked at Parcel2go and they've quoted £7.75 +VAT but that's with Yodal
which seams to be the only ones that came up that will collect the parcel, I cannot get to a parcel station, sorry I haven't sent anything large for years, Royal Mail quote £30
I'll also have to get a box from the LBS before sending. The postage costs is only an estimate as I've educatedly guessed the weight and size.
You can't buy happiness but you can buy a bike and that's pretty close
Sneaking in components behind hubbies back Shhhh!!!
