Possibly the finest oiliest example to have ever crossed my path. I doubt if its ever traveled more than 50 miles in its life.

Its about 90% perfect. A few scratches on the grey bits of the frame on the left hand side but the white is untouched with the decals near perfect

It has 15 gears, I counted them.

It has shifters

It has brakes

It has a chainset with three rings

It has the original tyres, a bit perished but seem stable enough

The chrome has suffered a little from storage but will shine up nicely with a bit of elbow grease.

What am I asking for this finest, finest piece of Raleighs proud marketing?

£30 collected from the PE28 area.

I will not box it up so dont ask

What size is this bike.
I would be interested if big enough, also I would not be able to collect until next Thursday.
Definitely interested though.

Suitable for a 6ft er?
I would think so, I will have that as long as you can wait until next week for pick up. Anyday after Wed pm due to work.

Nice blast from the past there LGF. The '88 Raleigh Mustang was the bike I took up cycling on. My parents bought it for me(xmas, b'day, can't remember), and I thought I'd better actually use it. The rest is history, present and future.

Regards

Marge

Apologies but I won't be able to have the bike. Would like it but more pressing financials this month.

Sorry
