they pivot on their own stainless bushings, so they should be inside. They might be missing- the hole looks a bit big?

Is the Syncros Ahead grey (sure it is but not always easy to tell in pics)?

It's the blu-ish grey. Kind of M952 colour, if you know what I mean!
