Welcome to the sale of my '91 GT Avalanche
It has been my dream to own one of these bikes since I was a teenager and I've loved every minute of owning this bike.
This is a well looked after example for a 22year old bike. Since owning the bike I have stripped/cleaned/rebuilt the bike and use it on a regular basis.

Fork : GT/Spinner "2x4" With Cold Forge Adjustable Drop Outs
Rims : Ritchey Vantage Comp 26x1.5
Hubs/Skewers : Shimano Deore DX/Shimano Deore XT
Chain : Shimano Deore XT STI
Front/Rear Mech : Shimano Deore DX STI
Shifters : Shimano ST-M092 Deore XT STI Rapid-Fire 7 Speed
Freewheel : Shimano Deore DX Hyperglyde Cassette 12-28t 7 Speed
Handlebar/Stem : GT Duraluminium Superlight Alloy/GT All Terra Flip Flop Stem
Chainset : Shimano Deore DX STI SuperGlide46/36/24t
Bottom Bracket : Hatta Sealed Mech
Headset : Tioga 1 1/8 Oversize Chromolly, Triple Sealed mech with GT Alloy Locknut
Saddle : GT All Terra Competition Leather
Seat Post/Clamp : GT All Terra Heat Treated Alloy/GT Alloy QR Black Anodised Lever
Brakes : Shimano Deore DX SLR Low profile Front Cantilever & Rear U-Brake with Flex-Guard
Brake Levers : Shimano ST-M092 Deore XT 2-Finger with Cam Breaking Action
Since being in my ownership I have fitted New Gear Cables/Brake Blocks & Schwalbe LandCruiser 26x1.95 tyres/Bottle Cage bolts,Shimano M520 SPD's & the chain was replaced by the previous owner otherwise everything is original (to my knowledge). Other than that it has had alot of TLC spent cleaning it up and many hours being enjoyed.
I would prefer not to split this bike as it would be such a shame but depending on interest I might.
Bad bits
Slight surface rust (shown in pictures)
Odd creak from handlebar (rides fine and hasn't got worse)
Some stickers have been partially worn off

I'm looking for £160 ono, I will package the bike for postage but you will have to arrange a delivery service you trust.
