Why was that? Lack of interest in the purple anno colour?

I guess so, which is odd given it should be easy to strip to a silver colour. but that takes effort.
Purple (and faded) is not everyone taste.

It would stand out in a retroride though :)

Although I don't actually know if many people would have willingly paid the £90 for purple.
I do know if it was the same price many still wouldn't have taken up the offer around here bitd

Purple is en-vogue now, even Chris King are doing a limited edition range in purple anno.

It's easy to strip back I agree and having just bought the exact same frame, I can say its frame build is bomb proof!

Mine will be getting a complete re-finish in purple anno in the near future and some lovely new decals too

A noble colour. "In human color psychology, purple is also associated with royalty and nobility (stemming from classical antiquity when Tyrian purple was only affordable to the elites)." Well, trhat's what Wiki says.

I believe it is an 19" but not sure how these where measured. It fits me and I'm 5'10". I hope that helps.
