1985 TIG'd, Japan built from Tom Ritchey Selected 4130 cromo tubes frame and forks, original mottled paint work, original decals (although getting tatty - see pics), a few dents to the TT that are small and are not structural (again, see pics). Classic Ritchey design with U brake/roller cam mounts on rear, Shimano dropouts, Unifork takes a cantilever. BB does not turn but should come out with some effort, same with headset cups.

Seat tube: 15" c-to-c; 16" c-to-t
Top tube: 20" c-to-c

These were built, I believe, for the original Rocky Mountain bike shop in Canaidia before they started making their own bikes.

Obviously this is not a hand-crafted by Tom bike, but they are rare, especially in this diminutive size and would be the makings of a pretty cool project.

Will come with a period Specialized stem, some swoopy steel bars, period grips, Suntour 4 finger levers and front and rear Suntour Mountech mechs to get you started. The wheels are not included but would go very well too!

£140 the lot posted in the UK.

The wheels comprise Araya RM25 wide rims, laced with 36 spokes to SHimano HB MN72 (DeerHead) sealed hubs, with a used 6 speed freewheel (will scrub up). True and smooth, but both would do with new grease to free them up a little, plenty of life in the rims. Very rare mid 80s wheelset.

Can't believe this hasn't been snapped up! If only it was bigger :(

Wheels sold, the rest of the build is available. I can maybe chuck in a set of period cranks too, Sakae I think...

The dents re not really noticeable, and the frame is so overbuilt and tough it would be absolutely fine to be used and abused off road.

Can do F&F for less if you don't fancy the parts.
