Front hub: Shimano Deore LX HB-M653
Rear hub: Shimano Deore LX HB-M655
Spokes: Sapim butted stainless
Rims: Mavic UB220- 36 holes
Age: 1994-1998 ish
Good stuff:
Hubs just stripped & regreased - unridden since
Freehub with strong click
Minimal wear to rim
Bad stuff:
One cone had a tiny amount of surface rust, notice no pitting on the bearing track
A couple of the spokes have some damage around where the cassette goes
One QR is black the other silver
Rims are approximately 1mm out of true
Other:
The front hub makes a faint clicking sound, I wondered what it was until I realised they only have 10 bearings per side, I checked Shimano Techdocs and this is the correct number, the click must be the balls moving around the cup.
£45 collected from Woking or with postage at cost.
