I've acquired a nice blue white and orange bontrager privateer frame, size large 19" c to top. It's had a disk mount brazed on but otherwise it is as created by Bontrager. This is a 99 model, so has a 1 1/8 headset. I bought it for a mate who was looking for a classic but it's too big for him. I'm tempted to build it up myself but I'm short of space. Can upload pictures on Tuesday but do mail me if interested. I'll consider all offers

There are a few spots of exterior rust but could form the base of a superb retro project.

Cheers, Stu

Thanks for that, it's just a shame I'm unable to do something with it myself. Cheers, Stu

Wondering if I would fit a 19" Bonty... I'm 5'10" but short legs/long body. Any ideas?

Hi Geoff,
I'm the same size /shape as you (maybe a bit rounder), I'm personally happier on an 18inch than a 19inch, I think this could well suit you if you were looking to use it on road or firetrack, but if you like to throw a bike about a bit I reckon you'd be happier on an 18 inch. If you wanted to see the frame I'm in Sheffield.

Cheers,

Stuart

Suspect it may be too big but some more info would be good, so you have PM.
