Hit there,

nice forks, one on the most beautiful forks ever made, in my opinion.
But sorry just had to say, but it's a 1998 model. SID came in 98 and the 2008 model is a anniversary model.
No offence, but just wanted to let you know.
And sorry I already got 5 forks.

I'm positive the first SIDs came out in 1997 - though perhaps they were '1998' model year despite actually being available in early autumn 1997?

Yes I think so, just like the new 2008 Shimano XTR. Which was available in july. :)
Good luck on sales.

Black ones??
The first SID was a 1998 model
Image

followed by the '99 model a Dual Air (Blue for the XC and Red for SL)
SID SL:

The 2000 model was very similar only the Rock Shox decals were the traditional:

Than the SID's changed to open oil with lock out and so on, and so on :)

Correct, that is why that model is very popular, especially with weight weenies. You can make them even lighter :)
I'm rebuilding mine with a carbon steerer :)

Must be a big OCLV frame if it needs that length steerer? Are you selling that too perhaps?
