i've got far too many wheels, so i'm flogging some..
PM if you want them.
Postage is included UK ONLY.
Overseas give me shout, i'll do it at cost though.
collection in Otley north Leeds more than welcome.
(i'm near Chevin Cycles)
Hope titanium hyperglide/lightweight wheel pair.
these are really really tidy (they've spent their life on the other half's bikes with very little use)
Bought in late '95 and built by Biketreks
Mavic 217's with DT double butted spokes and red alloy nipples.
The rear is HG 8 speed the front is the superlightweight one both are 32 hole.
the condition is excellent, the anodising is super bright, the rims have seen very little use/abuse.
The only thing i have noticed when i took the cassette off was some of the spokes have been bent.(see the picture)
The rear wheel does need a slight tweak so that would explain that! But they've never given any bother.
They are so, so nice - hope the pictures can show just how good they look and they're superlight.
Suntour XC Pro 7 speed rear cassette wheel
It's on a Ukai UMT-17 32 hole rim
The condition is amazing, looking at the rim i don't think it's been used at all.
There's a little dirt on the hub but i got most of this off with a baby wipe.
A lovely, lovely looking wheel - the rim profile is ace - in an amazing condition.
(oh, there's no skewer)
Suntour XC Pro 8 speed rear wheel
(i don't know if it's screw on or cassette sorry!)
it's on a 36 hole mavic 217
Good overall condition, the bearings feel good and the hub looks great.
The spokes have got some surface corrosion (or it might just be stuborn dirt)
The rim has a faint bit of concave-ness and usual marks from use.
the cassette seems good and is 11-28.
the rim sticker has got edge peel.
Suntour XC PRO / WTB GreaseGuard front wheel
on a 32 hole Araya RM-17 (dark anodised) rim
the hub looks great, all the copy is still there
spokes look good and feel tight.
the rim has usual wear and scores.
the logo is all there but has a bit of dirt on it that i couldn't shift
Hope lightweight front hub in black 36 hole
on a Mavic X517 in silver
the hubs in great nick, the rim feels like it's had an easy life
spokes tight but a it dirty and some have scratches
Pair of Black M563 LX Parallax hubs on 32 hole Mavic 231's
The hubs are in good condition, rear comes with an 8 speed - i'm guessing HG50 - cassette.
Rims are in a used but not abused condition.
the rear spokes are tight but the front ones are all over the place and will need a full tightening.
(the bugger is i did two rides on this wheel before noticing!!)
nice wheels that just need a bit of TLC
*tyre not included
Suntour XC PRO WTB/Greaseguard 32 hole front hub
on a Mavic M231 rim.
No markings on the hub but must be Xc pro to have the grease ports.
The rims okay, nice and clean but the braking surface has a slight lip.
on a Mavic M231 32 hole rim
i'm not sure what level the hub is, It's engraved with Suntour Japan.
I think the bike it came off had XC Expert but i really can't be sure.
The condition is okay, it could do with a bit of a polish, there's some dirty that needs to be shifted on the flange.
The braking surface is scored but not too badly.
(not as bad as the rim on the one above)
