I take it the pace shim is to fit a 1" steerer into a crown that currenlt has a 1 1/4" steerer? And will work with an RC30 crown(old black legs/plate welded dropout style)? If so I'll take it - PM me with details for paypal or direct bank transfer...

Yep - it allows you to do this:

You have a hole the size of a 1 1/4" in a steerer for a 1 1/4 steerer tube.

You stick the shim in the hole.

You then stick in a 1" steerer.

Tighten up and hey ho your off!

Interested in the XTR brake pads, are they for standard or ceramic rims? Any chance of a pic?

They are for normal wheels - no wear on them really.

Righto assuming they're re for canti brakes I'll take 'em, pm me to confirm.

Ah - just thought - am I also going to need the elusive 1" crown race shim that you're after too?! Don't pace still have em?

Not sure whether you will need one of those crown things - depends on your application I guess.
