I'm not sure if anyone is aware of it but you can generally buy parts a-la-carte from King to suit your needs. I ended up having my local shop source me a two-nut top race piece for about $25usd if I remember correctly.

In staying with in the spirit of this thread I have a 1" ahead gold top race piece for swaps against preferably a red one. :D
