as pictured 1997 Giant ATX 980 complete bike, looking for £200 + postage (although collection preferred!).
Another project means this one hasn't had any attention the only thing I have done is strip and regrease the rear suspension.
The front forks are not as smooth as they should be so I would recommend a service.
No dent's or dings, forks match the rear purple of the frame.
Rear suspension seems perfect with no leaks and a smooth firm action.
Let me know if I'm way out as I haven't seen another one on sale before....

Nice! 8)

Just for the record, Brettels has/had one up for sale although I'm not sure it ever went in the end.

This would sit nice alongside my 900 and how cool it would be to have all 4..... *slap*
Ok, enough dreaming. Hope the sale goes well.

I have an old ATX 980 myself I love riding it still and intend to keep it for awhile. Used to race this bike when I was a kid and it still rips. I have been rebuilding it with new parts and will use it as a second bike when I get a new one, I would like to replace the rear shock with a more modern air shock and need to know the exact tech specs of the rear shock so I know what will fit how do I find out this information or does anyone know offhand. I need to know the eye to eye, stroke, travel etc. Thanks for any help
