Any Interest in this, literally a barn find although of course I knew it was there:

Only weighs about 14kg, nice tange frame, hardly used and dry stored, few paint scratches and minor rust here and there.

£75 can post at cost.

Can you tell me frame size? Helping a friend who's looking for a bombproof commuter that she feels comfortable locking up and walking away from. She's 5'7" so think 18" frame would suit her?

Cost to ship to London?

Thanks!

Its an 18", perfect. This would be ideal (just tape over the TREK logo) as its a high quality bike not junk, and is reasonably light weight / doesn't look like a flash new bike.

I can try and find a bike box locally for free and then it will be £27, might take a few days.

Or if you are in a hurry for £50 they send a box and pickup next day.

Didn't even see the frame size in the post title! Sorry about that.

Does it have rack mounts on the back by chance?

I'll run it by her now...

Yes it does have rack mounts, the rear reflector is attached to one.

I have a rack for sale too.

She won't go wrong with this.

Re:

Lovely bikes these, particularly the frame. Very tempting but no room at the inn atm.

Good luck, I'm sure it won't be around for long
