Just bought a bike with some very nice original parts on it. The bike enthousiast in me says I have to keep it. The sensible dad and husband in me says I should not have bought it because it's bike number.....and we've got enough projects in and around the house to put energy in.
So on offer....
1. 1992 Koga Miyata Skyrunner Carbolite frame + forks. Decals are worn. Some aluminium corrosion on the forks.
2. Complete XTR m900 groupset in much used condition. Chainrings and cassette are still fine but there's quite some corrosion on the cranks and canti's. Rusty bolts also. Mechs and STI's are fine, original outer cables are there. Wheels are m900 hubs, hoshi butted spokes, Araya 400 rims. Aluminium corrosion on the rim beds. Need a clean and a polish.
4. pd-m737 pedals in good condition.
5. Syncros quill stem. Quite some rise, I think about 20 degrees and not too long, probably 120 mm. Condition is ok but not perfect. Some corrosion, some chipping, decals partly worn. I'd say 65/100.
6. Syncros handlebars, uncut, with a blue shim, condition is very good, original grips are still on it.
7. Syncros bar ends, good condition, scratching on the corners, original grips still on them.
8. Syncros seatpost 28.6 mm (not pictured) second generation. This frameset originally has the first generation seatpost.
Alltogether, it's original, probably just one owner, used, and certainly not perfect.
Because the package is so typically early nineties it would be great to see this bike stay complete and intact.
