Tis was indeed, shame I've had to move ot on but I've the old cindercone still and Mike's ratty explosif doing regular duties at mo. Waaaaaaaay too many bikes at mo.....lovkdowns not helping hahaha
 
Interesting post.. I have an early Summit, groupset datecode June '91. It has the classic Raleigh seat-tube cluster, not the shot-in stays of yours. The mangletastic bottom bracket (and the rust) are a tad worrysome, otherwise I'd be interested. The effective seat tube length is about two inches longer, and the headtube on mine measures four and a quarter inches- yours looks longer.. GLWS anyway.
