BARGAIN ** LIGHT Steel Frame w/ noodles ** BARGAIN

Zanoli

Old School Hero
Hello,

These frames are unfortunately too small for me and i need some room so here they go for sale !

First is a Rock Lobster from the UK Merlin era (probably 1994 according to the serial number) so not made in US but still designed by Paul Sadoff.
Some decals are gone but my guess is an Expert model, so should be Kinesis 7005 aluminium.
Height : 48.5cm CTT / 43.5cm CTC
Length : 55.5cm CTC
Weight : around 1850 grams
Well used with many superficial marks, no dents, has the removable Kinesis derailleur hanger.
Asking €60 + shipping from France or collection (i can bring it in several places - PM)

Second is an unknown steel frame whose origin was discussed here
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=399073
The frame is light, has nice noodle cable guides and Ritchey dropouts. It could be a Speed or not but it definitely screams "high end mid 90's racing frame" !
Height : 42.5cm CTC 47cm CTT
Length : 56cm CTC
Weight : around 1580 grams
Looks in superb shape but i now suspect the paint to not be original (some details like the Ritchey logo looking a little "buried").
Asking €150 + shipping from France or collection (i can bring it in several places - PM)

Thanks !

Re: Rock lobster Expert + Unknown LIGHT steel MTB frame

Hi there,

I really need to move those out of the shed :)

I don't see any point in lowering the Rock Lobster price below 50, i might as well throw it away or make it my soon-to-be-stolen pub bike.

The unknown steel is lovely and really deserves a great build (maybe not the collection/BOTM type, but i'm sure it's a great rider). Would €120 tempt anyone ?

Otherwise, i'd be happy to receive your offers via PM.

Cheers !

Re:

Hi, can I take the unknown frame subject to clarification of sizes please.
I’ve sent you a PM.
No cracks or damage to it?

Thanks,
Chris

i really think i shouldve bought this. at first it looked very similar to one i have rusting in the shed, same dropouts, similar noodles etc, which is like ppl suggested, random tiawanese factory, made out of tange prestige

but the seat stay tapers near the dropout on this one look columbus genius to me, or one of the other nivacrom tubesets. you see similar on those scapin frames from italy. any idea if its sus corrected?

ive got another steel frame a bit lighter, made of dedacciai tubes, but its tiny and i cant fit on it properly. i guess what im saying is, if the sale falls through ill probably take it. same colour as my saracen too.
