Gt Psyclone SOLD

Belhoff

Retro Newbie
This is a fillet brazed psyclone, that had the better variety of drop out/gear hanger. It's the Californian built steel frame using true temper. 25years ago I was lucky to own two of these, one for training and then this was my xc race bike, which saw little use. All XT, but for a recent chain and cassette I have recently changed , so new parts added for the sale.

Frame was resprayed by Argos racing over 20years ago. So no team scream colour way but I preferred the new paint.

Feel free to Google reviews of these, they are sought after as they were exceptional frames. The other kit is high level, (in keeping with the bike) so there's control Tech, Flite Ti saddle, titec, and folding Onza tyres from that period. Got flat pedals but if you bend my arm I will throw on mk1 dual spd's. Also include 26x1.5 tyres if you are using as commuter.

Expect some paint dinks, always knocked the top tube when bungling it in the car. I will confirm what everyone says about these frames, they do everything well.

Not many of these with in keeping top end equipment left

Re: more photos

Here is a few more shots of the frame/fillet braze and the Judy Xc. They still run elastomer and I may just have a pair of new springs, should they ever elect to give up service.

Re: more photos

Hope this gives enough to look at. The bike did not have too much off road, before being retired. For my mind it was the best version of this bike. Albeit I still rather liked the original Colarado job with the U brake. Mind u that other model got pinched and it even had Cooks cranks.

Re: Gt Psyclone £390

Hi,
Do you consider shipping the bike (even abroad)?
BTW I sent you a PM yesterday.
Regards,
A

Re: these were maybe the best.

I had the American built zaskar, earlier Cyclone, and rode Xizang the xizang is nice but so is this version of the psyclone, which is stiff but comfy. It really is a capsule of where I stopped mountain biking, even disc brakes make me feel a little odd, this Era of XT v's had a visual elegance.
