Putting this out there, pretty sure I want to sell as its taken a white to get to a mock-up so I cant be too into it I guess, I mean I like it but its just past my favorite era. frame has marks from use and storage and front mech marks from where a previous owner was running a road crankset.

Dave hinde frame and forks

17" C-T
21" TT
Ultegra Headset
Zoom Stem and handlebars
Ritchey style seatpost, scruffy but serves a purpose for now.

deore XT M737 long Rear derailleur
deore XT 8 speed shifter pods
deore XT crankset.

Re:

That's really nice, I like the way the disc Calipers are integrated into the frame.
GLWS.

Re: Dave Hinde Project - British steel / hope / Deore XT

Not sure exactly, no markings to suggest a date, but it sports a 1" headtube and the fork is threaded, maybe 94 at the latest?

Cool as

What sort of wheels will this need?

The wheels in it are XT on mavic but the flanges catch the chunky calipers so theyre no good, I do have some Hope black hubs on mavic annodised rims somewhere in the depths of the shed that were bought for this project, they could be up for grabs too I suppose.

Re: Dave Hinde Project - British steel / hope / Deore XT

Presumably they need hubs with disc fitting. Would modern standards work?
