I think this dates from 1989 but open to more info? As you can hopefully see its very original bar saddle and tyres. It measures approx 19" from the centre of the bottom bracket to the centre of the top tube. It is made from True Temper steel and has a few chips/rust marks, mainly under the bottom bracket but still has the original lustre to the paint. The worse rust is underneath the fork crown... nothing to be concerned over and can't be seen when the bike is upright but just being clear. It is fully equipped with Deore XT(cranks are Deore) including hubs, brakes, pedals, mechs and shifters. The left shifter, like many of these doesn't work properly but in the sale I will include a working DX shifter that will do the job! I shall fit it too before its sold. The brakes work well and it rides great. The headset probably needs a service as its a little stiff. It has a nice pair of X-Lite Ski bends fitted too. The polished alloy rims are in great shape and spin true. The hub bearings are silky smooth too. I will leave the lovely Rolls saddle on too if I get asking price. The tyres are ok but a little dry. One is a Marin jobbie.
I am after a quick sale so I think £180 is a good price considering the pluses and the minuses. I don't really want to split it at this stage as its so original. I am happy to post at buyers cost...probably £20ish. Located Notts.
payment can be made via paypal friends OR ADD THE FEES
Any questions please ask :)

Yeah its a 1" headset and after much headscratching and googling I think the frameset could be 88 or 89 and all of the shimano stuff was available in 90.
It appears when new it would have come with Araya RM20 rims.... these are not! They are very nice indeed(whatever they are) but no decals on either???
Hmmmmmm

Good luck with the sale. Lovely bike.

Thankyou... the stem is great, none of that stupid back breaking stretch nonsense!
