Up for sale is my Hei Hei frame. I'm more of a roadie now and the bike hardly gets used. My plan is to strip the bike, take some pictures and list on ebay at some point over the weekend but I thought I'd list it here for a few days first.

I bought this off of a fellow retrobiker on this forum (Rojo) a few years back and it's been owned by a fair few others on this forum over the years.

When I bought it, I sent it off to Enigma who re-brushed the frame applied some replacement decals and fixed one of the captive nut bottle mounts that was loose. Since then I've done very little miles, dare I say it, it's spent most of it's time on the turbo trainer.

Some of it's history can be traced in the following links:-

I'm looking for £500 posted in the UK. I'd rather sell to a fellow retrobiker but will be listing on ebay to get a bigger audience.

Following on from the frame, I may sell the M739 groupset (also in excellent condition) and the wheels which are barely used M737 hubs with campy atek rims and double butted stainless spokes but I'm still pondering about those.

I bought it off Geoff Young, the advert is one of the links above. Nice frame.

Re:

It's a really nice frame the welds and fabrication are top class. I vaguely remember that it rides nicely..... and that's the problem, I hardly ride it

Re: Kona Hei Hei 1997 20" frame

I finally got round to stripping the bike down and taking some pictures. There is some cable rub in places and a couple of light scratches but no dents or cracks.

Re:

There was, I ended the listing early on the promise of a fellow retrobiker dropping by on Saturday to pay and collect. I hope it all goes through nicely, there were a lot of watchers on ebay, though of course not all watchers are bidders
