Kona HOT 17” 1994-5 TET frameset. ——- SOLD——-

shauno

Geoff Capes
SOLD locally.

I built it up with some leftover xtr goodies...

17" 1995 Kona HOT frame, fork, headset, bar and stem.
This is the last year Teasdale built these lovely frames for kona.
This is an ex female kona riders bike. It's been sitting for years but was ridden hard when in use. Ive gone over everything and found only one teeny ding in the top tube the size of a baby fingernail. Hardly visible (shown in pics)
It has lots of scratches, nicks, paint chips, etc... but it's rad!
The fork is the correct triple butted 410mm axle to crown piece. 780grams
Both the stem and headset are correct for the year as well.
All the threads are in excellent condition and the frame takes a 27.2 post.

No I will not split up. Complete only. Price is firm.

This is hard for me to sell.

$300usd. £215gbp ——- SOLD——— locally sold.

Shipping extra. Paypal f&f please.

Bike is in Vancouver, Canada.

Now built up if anyone wants it!!

As you probably know, shipping from
Canada is rediculous!

The Canada post price is approx $250 cad or 160 euro.

That amount may vary slightly once I get the actual box dimensions.

Will console myself thinking that I have the same tubeset on my explosif ;)

Any idea what this is made of?

Doesn’t appear to be Ultrastrong. Ultralight?

Very good question... makes me think it’s a custom tubeset for the rider.

It was Trish Sinclair’s team bike back in 95-96 so it may have been built for her specs, not sure.

It has a concept seat tube for sure with the bulge at the B.B. I’m also thinking it has an ovalized downtube but not the same as my 91-92 explosifs. Yet it has the newer ‘94 onwards rear dropouts. It’s very unique. Very light frame also coming in at 1784 grams.

Shipping to the UK will be approx $250 cad or £140gbp as an estimate and without the wheels.
