Retro Newbie
Club Roost DH8 Downhill Bike + Marzocchi Shiver DC Forks & Hope M4 Brakes.

Selling this downhill bike as I just don’t use it any more due to family. Only been out on it 3 times in the last year.

It's done me well for many years and has always been well maintained.

Spec:

Club Roost DH8 Frame - Variable travel from 5" to 8". All the bearings in the pivots were replaced last year and work perfectly. There are scratches in the paintwork as you would expect from a used bike but there are no dents or cracks in the frame. This has the upgraded rear swing arm which has additional strength (compared to the earlier Club Roost frames)

Marzocchi Shiver DC Forks - Serviced in March 2018. 20mm thru axel. No leaks or issues. When I go out on the bike you always get people saying "Wow - are those Shivers??". These are still some of the best forks ever made.

Hope Mono M4 Hydraulic Disc Brakes & Rotors. Recently bled. Plenty left on the pads.

Alex DM-24 Rims 26" DH Wheels, 20mm Kona hub + 10mm QR Shimano rear

Black Spire chain device

Shimano LX rear mech.

Brooklyn seat

FSA headset.

DMR V8 pedals

Tioga Factory DH Tyres - Plenty of miles left in these.

Any viewing more than welcome. Any questions just ask.

This is a proper downhill bike, made to last and will do somebody well.

Re:

Hi,

Sorry should have inlcuded this in the original text.

I'm not 100% sure on what year the bike is. Roughly 2003.

£500 for the complete bike.

I'm near Chorley in Lancashire (UK). Postcode area PR7.
